How to prepare a component BOM for RFQ

List one complete manufacturer part number per row, add the quantity and required delivery date, and separate essential requirements from preferences. This gives us a clear starting point for your quotation.

What to include in your BOM

Use the XLSX or CSV template on our RFQ page. Fill in what you know and mark any detail that needs clarification.

What to include in your BOM checklist
FieldWhat to include
Part numberComplete MPN, including suffixes
QuantityUnits needed for each part
DeliveryRequired arrival date and destination
PackagingRequired packaging and acceptable alternatives
Documents / inspectionDocuments or checks you need

Example: a clearer quote request

Sample wording using a fictional part number: “EXAMPLE-PART-001; 120 units; required arrival 20 October 2026; Hong Kong; original packaging preferred; please quote any inspection separately.”

That is more useful than “Need parts urgently” because it explains the quantity, deadline and preferences.

  1. Put each complete MPN on its own row.
  2. Add quantity, arrival date and destination.
  3. Separate essential requirements from preferences.
  4. Check suffixes, units and dates before sending.

Send the completed file by email

Download the template, fill it in, and attach it to an email to rfq@veqorin.com. Send files through your email application rather than uploading them on this website.

For one part, select the MPN from our search results and use the RFQ worksheet to prepare your message.

Review the quotation before ordering

Check part numbers, quantities, availability, prices, payment terms and delivery arrangements, including any agreed documents or inspection.

If a suffix is unclear or a different part is proposed, resolve the difference before placing the order.
